Huawei P70 revealed again with two new camera module designs

According to various sources, the P70 will basically be released at the end of March, and is fully optimistic about by professionals. In the latest news, two camera module designs of the P70 are exposed: one is a rounded rectangular module, the size is much wider than the previous generation P60, and the three lenses are arranged in a triangle; The second is the triangle module, and the lens arrangement is also triangle.

Chaodian think tank learned from the industry chain that the possibility of these two designs fighting with each other is small, and the large probability is corresponding to different models. But no matter what kind of innovation, Huawei is expected to become the leader in smartphone imaging by 2024.

It is said that the main camera of Huawei P70 series also has two schemes, respectively OV50H and IMX989, which should also correspond to different models.

Among them, the P70 will be equipped with the domestic super large bottom main camera OV50H, the main specifications are 1/1.3 inch optical size, 50 million pixels, 1.2μm per pixel, support physical variable aperture, and 48 million pixels of ultra-wide Angle macro lens and 48 million pixels of hidden telephoto lens; Supports 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. There are many high-end flagship standard version models are using this sensor, such as iQOO 12, Honor Magic 6 and so on.

The P70 Pro and P70 Art will be upgraded to the 1-inch super-large bottom main camera SONY IMX989 with a 50 megapixel resolution, support for OIS optical stabilization, and higher optical and digital zoom capabilities, as well as support for physically variable aperture.

It is also worth noting that the Huawei P70 series main camera is expected to use 1G+6P glass-to-plastic hybrid lens to bring stronger deformation resistance.

The G+P glass-to-plastic hybrid lens has the advantage of lower height in the application side, and the production cost gap with the 8P lens is gradually narrowing, which is expected to become a powerful supplement for high-end smartphone images in 2024.
